Cheating customers

I just shopped there yesterday and they had a sale on banquet baked chicken dinners. The sale was 4 dinners for $10.
I thought that was bad but I decided to try it. The self checkout charged me $2.79 for each dinner instead of the so called sale price. 4 dinners were supposed to be $10. Go figure. 2.79 ×4 does not equal 10 bucks. It goes over 10 bucks. Going to a different store that I can trust. No more Kroger if I can help it.

Why is Kroger in Dallas taking so long…

Why is Kroger in Dallas taking so long to pay the retro bonus from 2020 to meat employees. It has been 6 weeks since contract was signed. Why didn’t we get this bonus in 2020 during the bad part of Covid. This $1200 bonus might stop employees from being evicted or losing their cars. Kroger does not think about the employee!! Record profits last year!!!! Kroger is taking to long to pay employees what they owe them.

Customer service needs new training

In the past two weeks I have spent over 10 hours on hold, talked to at least a dozen people from your customer service number, and several other departments trying to get an online ordering problem with my loyalty card resolved. I've also sent numerous emails only to have responses that have nothing to do with the issue at hand. After repeatedly asking to speak to a supervisor I was finally called today and was disconnected. Tried to call the number back only to find the number had been disconnected or no longer in service. Then I received another call and was told YET AGAIN I would have to talk to another department. Then guess what, I was disconnected AGAIN! What does it take to get customer service from your company? And please don't tell me to me to call *******377 because I've had enough of those people. Their answer to a non working loyalty card was to turn my WiFi off and turn it back on and it would work. I even tried another computer ‘with wifi' and guess what, it still didn't work.

Horrible delivery service

I’m very sick and can’t go into the store, so I’ve been relying on Kroger’s delivery service. It would be nice if I was able to receive all the items I paid for at least ONCE. And when I call to complain they tell me to schedule a time THE NEXT DAY to come pick up my items. If you want me to bring my sick self into your store, fine! Because it seems like that would be the only way for me to get what I pay for.

Service and policies

They dont follow policy posted online. If you think your gonna return an item you just bought, think again. They will not process returns over 50 dollars. If you buy something expensive make sure itss for keeps. Even with a receipt in the return window the answer was I dont care and a wave off stomp. Miguel as 505 Dacula rd at Dacula Kroger. He stated he was the only manger so good luck reporting me.

Horrible Experience

Good afternoon. My name is Amanda McBride and I am reaching out in response to a horrible experience I had at one of your Kroger stores yesterday evening. I am a retail store manager and have been for the past 10 years so I fully understand the importance of customer service and satisfaction, as well as the processes and conditions we put in place to ensure that these customers have a pleasant experience and return business. However, yesterday evening at the Kroger at 11925 Elam Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180, while attempting to pick up my online order I was (once again) disappointed and frustrated with the lack of care that I received with my order. I have been picking up online orders for well over a year now, ever since the COVID pandemic, and this is not the first time that this store location has not only gotten my order wrong, but has shown blatant disregard for my orders and my frustrations after not receiving those orders in full twice before this time!? And it has occurred consecutively, as well!? So, at this point, I am deeply frustrated; in fact, after speaking with Ignacio Gonzalez over the phone about my order, I was shaking so badly that I had to stop and pull my vehicle over. So, yesterday evening, after picking up what I believed to be my complete grocery order (totaling nearly $300), I quickly proceeded home because, as stated before I am a retail manager (as well as a mother of 3), and I needed to finish my day and prepare for the next. However, upon reaching my place of residence, I quickly realized that my order was quite small considering the amount of money I had spent and the amount of groceries I was expecting. In fact, I was missing every cold item on my list – my milk, frozen goods, etc. I live about 20 minutes from the store and I really did not want to make the round trip again, so I tried calling the store for at least 20 minutes, trying every extension I could to get someone, anyone, to pick up. Nothing. No one would answer the phone. So, my husband and I got back into the vehicle and made the trip back to the store so that we could get the rest of our order. The whole trip back to the store, my husband and I both continued trying to reach anyone at the store with no success. Finally, when we are about 5 minutes from the store, someone answers. I immediately request to speak with the store manager. I am then placed on hold for a minute or two and then a person/manager by the name of Ignacio Gonzalez comes on the line to speak with me. I immediately tell him my problem and how frustrated I am that this has been a recurring issue with this location, to which he responds that I have received my order and there was no mistake on their end. He continues to argue with me for the next several minutes about my order and how I have received the full order until finally he finds my items and says that yes, my items are still there and are ready for pick up – which I already knew and had been trying to get him to understand for the past 3-5 minutes. I then inform him that I would like a higher ups name and contact info so that I can complain on the issues and processes that this location is having and not fixing, to which he once again begins to argue with me once more and then states that he is "disappointed" with me as a customer because of how frustrated I am with having to do all this work just to get my order fulfilled. He was "disappointed" with me as a customer?!? Not only was I furious at this point with the lack of respect and care taken with my order, but now I am listening to how I should be better customer? Are you serious!?! As stated before, I have been in retail management for 10 years and his behavior and handling of his customer and customer's problem with his store was completely unprofessional! In fact, upon reaching the store, he would not even come to speak with me, instead he had a part-time employee bring me the rest of my groceries as well as had the employee escorted by a security officer. Really? This whole experience has been a complete circus. Not only did I have trouble with my online order (for at least the 3rd time!) and had to travel 20 minutes back to the store to receive it, as well as travel 20 minutes again back home, I was treated completely unprofessionally by someone who is supposed to take care and show understanding with his employees. I was so shaken and frustrated with this incident that I spent the next 30 minutes on the phone with customer service extensions trying to reach someone, anyone, that could give me some sort information required for reporting this incident to a higher up, a DM, a regional manager, a CEO, someone! But all they could give was the number for the store I had the issue with? And so, here I am, trying to not only ensure that this does not happen to me again, but to any other "valued" customer of this location, as well. Please, this kind of nonsense needs to be addressed and put to rest. The processes in place at this store are ...

Pharmacy

I really do not know who to complain to. I have called several of your Customer Services. Starting with Contact us, Then Customer complaints and Pharmacy complaint's only to be hung up on by all 3!
The problem that I am having is that I had a prescription that was suppose to be ready on April 4th. Well today is the 13th. And now I am out of 3 script's with a total of 5 due. I realize that by adding on the Covid shot's to this pharmacy has put them under pressure. However they should have the staff to do this and if not they should not be doing this. So the customers who get their script's filled there are the one's being punished! I have been with Kroger's for a very long time and at this point I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere! Not just mine but the rest of the family...

Shipping, pick up, delivery, even shopping in person is BAD

First time ordering shipped items, Just had some food shipped was leaking all over other items. Pick up, and delivery are both bad every single time especially with on sale, coupon, or bogo free items, you'll pay full price, and won't get the other free one. Shopping in person is also bad, as it's the only place that caused me to over draft twice for fake sales, I could go anywhere, and they always let me know it declined, but this place is able to overdraft me.

I HAD to add 1star

I HAD to add 1star. I’m in Arizona and use Frys. Our Kroger. My brother became extremely ill and is in Grandview Hospital. In Dayton Ohio. I called Kroger’s to see about a couple food platters to say thank you to his nurses. After getting passed to 4 different morons After I’d given my story 4 times the last fool said yah you’re gonna have to pick it up. I’ve got cancer and need clearance to fly. But I’m gonna hop a plane to get to Kroger’s and pick up a platter. From Arizona. I’m already scared about my brother. He’s all I have. I was in tears when I got done with them. Rude Rude Rude. Bless you Dorthy Lane Markets!!

Mask nazis at the deli counter

Mask nazis at the deli counter! I was refused service despite having had the vaccine. Had to involve the store manager for resolution. I'm in Texas, there is no mask mandate, and I really dont need a lecture on immunology from a deli employee. Honest question,,, how do we return to normal if the uninformed and frightened masses of the world have to be taken seriously?

Mask Nazi's!

I was refused service for not wearing a mask, even though I have had the vaccine, and live in Texas where there is no mask mandate. Even if you think that's fair, let's think about this, how do we get back to normal if cranky old deli workers are guiding corporate policy. Dude actually invoked his union representative when management got involved. This is not the America we want.

People are scared and frustrated. They have little control anymore and I believe that causes them to hit out. My Gran would say they are "showing themselves." All stores like Kroger have a supply & replenishment program in place and the pandemic set all of them off track. It's not the store's, worker's or even our fault. People that rant & rage at open businesses are irrationally biting the hands that are trying to help them. They need to take a soul-searching look at who they have become. Every person working in places where anyone can enter is so much braver than the rest of us non- healthcare workers. I thank the store & restaurant workers everytime I am out. They are keeping the country going. They are exposing themselves and providing critical services for our country. They are aware of what would happen if all the stores and businesses closed.

Lines are busy and it takes patience, but I've found lots of customer service in-store. Once again, the online aspect has exponentially mushroomed because of the pandemic. Replenishment of supply demands is catching up. We need to give them a grace period to catch up on the personal service responses too. If you really have a serious problem, go discuss it at a distance of 5 feet away. They will help, just be nice!

They ignore complaints. Even when it involves sexual harrassment.
